God is For You

Life often brings challenges that make us feel like everything is against us. We face struggles, uncertainty, and moments of doubt. But even in the hardest moments, Jesus reminds us of one unshakable truth: God is for you, even when everything seems against you.

We close out all of our experiences at Central with Romans 8:31 (NLT), which asks, “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” This isn’t just a question; it’s a declaration. The resurrection shouts that no matter what we face—loss, struggle, uncertainty—God is still for us. Because Jesus rose up, we don’t have to give up.

Romans 8:35-37 (NLT) says, “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? … No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

The Bible is clear. Hard times do not have the final word—God does. His love and power intersect our lives and change everything. Even when things feel like they are falling apart, we can trust that He is holding us together. When life gets tough, we tend to doubt God’s provision. But scripture gives us a powerful truth to hold onto: “Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” (Romans 8:32, NLT).

Think about that. If God was willing to give up Jesus for us, why would He withhold anything we truly need? Every time you face a mess, remind yourself of this logic: God has already given His best in Jesus. He won’t stop providing now. Even in loss, in struggle, in uncertainty, He remains faithful.

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) drives this home: “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”

Nothing means nothing. Not loss, not financial struggle, not fear. Nothing can cancel God’s presence, love, or purpose for you.

Christ’s resurrection declares that God is for you. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us today.
